Is the MD to ODT conversion reversible?

You can convert the ODT back to MD on this site. If either format involved is lossy, the round-trip is not bit-perfect even though it is visually or audibly close.

What output quality should I expect from MD to ODT?

Default settings target broadcast / web quality — visually identical to the source for most viewers. For archival use, pick the highest quality option in the converter settings.

How faithful is the round-trip between OpenDocument and Microsoft formats?

Body text, headings, lists and simple tables move across cleanly in both directions. The known casualties are the same ones LibreOffice has always had: tracked changes, comments anchored to ranges, footnote numbering schemes and nested table borders. Check those specifically rather than assuming the whole document made it.

Is there a file-size limit when converting MD to ODT?
