What happens to transparency when converting WEBP to JFIF?

JFIF does not support transparency. Transparent regions in the WEBP will be flattened against a solid background — white by default. If you need to keep transparency, convert to PNG, WebP, or TIFF instead.
What output quality should I expect from WEBP to JFIF?

My WEBP is animated — what happens to the other frames?

Only the first frame survives, because JFIF is a still format with nowhere to store the rest. If the animation matters, target a format that animates, or convert to a video container instead and keep the motion. The .jfif extension confuses Windows and many web apps into refusing the file, which is usually the only reason anyone converts it.
Is there a file-size limit when converting WEBP to JFIF?
